We reached thivim in wee hours of morning ,moved to panji and got a bus to CALANGUTE...This was the time of desparation and uneasiness for us.We,being inexperienced customers had a tough time looking for the rooms and then the vehicles. We kept mooching around on the streets for hours.
To cut the long story short,we somehow got settled and had two activas with us.Frustration was on its pea
So we decided to visit Chapora fort(the famous scene from DIL CHAHTA HAI was shot here)..After making a ride of around 12 kms we reached there only to find out that it was too dark to visit the fort...nothing was visible ..Dejected by the circumstances we moved back to hotel and went to sleep...we decided to get up early next morning as we were supposed to leave for panji next afternoon..I was particularly adamant about visiting chapora fort before leaving goa....so at 0430 next morning,we left for Chapora,..it was bit cold but we went on
AND wat we were supposed to witness was something out of this world...i am not a poet so i would better let the pictures describe the view....but these moments really made our trip ...i can't express how i felt to be present in that wonderful sight of nature..i had not seen anything so beautiful in my life..THE seamless sky painted in blue blessed with the company of the sun and moon at the same time. What a spectacle it was...we were left mesmerised.....left us speechless..
We had our breakfast at a shack on CALANGUTE beach and left for manipal with smiles on our faces...the trip finally had something to cheer about...

That statement about something extraordinary can't be truer. And the g-stringed guy on the beach...hehe
By the way, I think this much "personal" is acceptable even in a "non-personal" blog.
