i will be writing a short review about a movie i have watched along with the rating on a scale of 7...
house of sand and fog is a highly emotional drama....the move shows the life of an iranian col. forced to leave his country with his family and settled in USA .col. BEHRANI(kingsley) is a man of faith that nothing comes before dignity in life.he has been working hard to have enough capital to buy a sea facing house similar to their house in IRAN only to sell it to someone else at a higher price.The house had been owned by KATHY(connelly) whose life is at its nadir after her husband left her and she is forced to sweep in houses to manage a living.She is asked to vacate the house as a penalty for not paying her taxes long overdue....
rest of the movie deals with how the lives of these strangers get interwined...The movie can be too depressing for some of the viewers.extraordinary performances by kingsley and connelly make this movie worth a watch...background music could have been better
verdict:-WATCH IT FOR SOME GOOD ACTING
